![]() Welcome to the Placerville Friends of the Library! Funds raised by the Friends are used to purchase books and other materials (DVDs, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers) and to support children’s programming and events. Unlike the other libraries in El Dorado County, the Placerville Main Library receives no specific direct tax support. It must rely on the County General Fund and struggles to provide the services patrons need—which makes the Friends of the Library that much more critical to its success. Check it Out! The Placerville Friends of the Library Spring 2019 Newsletter is ready to read.
