Welcome to the El Dorado Hills Friends of the Library!
The mission of the Friends of the Library of El Dorado County is to support its libraries in El Dorado County, their patrons and staff; to support library and community outreach programs, services and facilities; to enrich the lives of El Dorado County residents by advocating the use of our libraries and to support our libraries through fundraising efforts which include memberships, gifts and endowments.
Funds raised by the El Dorado Hills Chapter are used to purchase books and other materials (DVDs, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers) and to support children's programming and events. We raise funds through memberships, lobby gift basket and book sales, and a Bridge Tournament
Members receive early entry to five used book sales held each year. Books are sold for only $1.00 a pound. Our member-only priority sales open from 3 to 6 pm on Friday. On Saturday, the book sale opens to the public from 8 am to 4 pm.
The Friends of the Library appreciates donations! In addition to becoming a member, here are other ways you can donate:
